Practical carbine

This course is designed to build a strong foundation in rifle shooting and guide shooters toward higher levels of performance. The course begins by breaking down the core fundamentals, then progressively develops them into advanced techniques, giving shooters not only a solid grasp of essential mechanics but also a deeper understanding of the why and how behind their training.

This intermediate-level course offers a clear path for improving rifle proficiency. It’s ideal for newer and experienced shooters, Law Enforcement and Military operators ready to move beyond the basics and seeking to sharpen their skills, push the limits of speed and accuracy, and refine their overall technique.

    • Serviceable Carbine with sling (preferably a 2 point)

    • 3 magazines with at least one pouch for reloads

    • Serviceable handgun with holster, magazines and at least 1 pouch

    • 700 rounds of rifle ammunition

    • 100 rounds of pistol ammunition

    • Comfortable clothing (weather appropriate)

    • Eye and ear protection

    • Water, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray

    Class Prerequisites:

    • U.S. Citizen.

    • Able to legally carry a firearm.

    • Able to demonstrate and employ safe weapons handling during courses of fire.

    • Previously taken Intro Carbine 2 or other firearms training to include courses of fire where your were required to show safe weapons handling and manipulation, and a basic understanding of the weapons platform.

  • STS courses are not eligible for refunds within 30 days of the originally scheduled course date. In the event that STS reschedules a course due to an obligation the 30-day policy shifts to the newly scheduled date. If the refund is requested more than 30 days from the scheduled course date, the buyer will be given a full refund or course credit to use on a future course.     Merchandise refunds & exchanges:
    You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. Your item must be unworn and in the condition that it was received. Unless the item is damaged the item will be shipped at the buyer's expense. If the buyer would like to exchange the item for another size or item of equal value the item will be returned at the buyer's expense.
